Acceptable Use Policy

What you can and cannot do with Open Doors.

Last updated: 24 April 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) applies to everyone who uses Open Doors and is incorporated into the Terms of Service. We enforce this AUP to protect our customers, their customers, and the infrastructure we all share.

Prohibited content and conduct

You may not use the Services to create, send, host, or facilitate:

  • Child sexual abuse material or content sexually exploiting minors.
  • Content that incites violence, promotes self-harm, or threatens others.
  • Harassing, stalking, or intimidating messages targeting individuals.
  • Hate content targeting protected characteristics.
  • Defamatory statements or knowingly false claims presented as fact.
  • Intellectual property you do not have the right to use.
  • Personal data you have no lawful basis to process.
  • Deceptive “phishing” messages impersonating another brand or person.
  • Malware, worms, ransomware, or code designed to damage systems.

Prohibited industries

We do not permit the following industries on Open Doors (this list is not exhaustive):

  • Payday, title, and high-cost consumer lending outside regulated frameworks.
  • Debt-collection outside licensed operators with documented opt-in.
  • Cryptocurrency / NFT promotions to consumers without proper licensure.
  • Firearms, firearm parts, ammunition, and explosives.
  • Illicit drugs, cannabis (outside licensed jurisdictions and with documented opt-in), and tobacco/vaping promotion to consumers.
  • Gambling and sports-betting promotions outside licensed operators.
  • Multi-level-marketing recruitment that relies on recruit-and-refer without a real product.
  • Adult content, escort services, and sexual services.
  • “Get-rich-quick,” pyramid, and chain schemes.

Abuse of infrastructure

  • Do not probe, scan, or attempt to penetrate the Services or third-party systems.
  • Do not circumvent rate limits, abuse bulk-sending, or use multiple accounts to split volume.
  • Do not reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the Services except as permitted by law.
  • Do not scrape, crawl, or harvest data beyond the scope of your permitted use.

Messaging compliance (SMS, voice, email, WhatsApp)

  • Obtain and document explicit consent from every recipient before marketing.
  • Honour opt-outs in all channels and across all future campaigns from your account.
  • Identify yourself and your business in the message body where required (TCPA, CAN-SPAM, PECR).
  • Complete A2P 10DLC registration before high-volume US SMS sending.
  • Use approved WhatsApp templates outside the 24-hour window.
  • Respect TCPA quiet hours (8am–9pm recipient local time) and local-law equivalents.

Reporting violations and enforcement

Report suspected violations to abuse@opendoors.ai. We investigate and act proportionally: warnings and remediation for minor or first-time issues, suspension for repeated or material violations, immediate termination for the most serious categories. We preserve evidence and cooperate with law-enforcement requests that are validly issued.
