Cookie Policy
The cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them.
Last updated: 24 April 2026
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies serve different purposes — keeping you logged in, remembering your preferences, and helping us understand how the Services are used. This page explains our use of cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, pixels, beacons) on opendoors.ai and inside the Services.
Categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Controllable |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authentication, session state, security protections. Required for the Services to function. | No — cannot be disabled. |
| Functional | Remember language, time zone, UI preferences. | Yes — browser settings. |
| Analytics | Aggregate usage analytics to improve the Services (page views, feature use, performance). | Yes — cookie banner / browser settings. |
| Marketing | Measure marketing campaigns, limit ad frequency, and attribute conversions. | Yes — cookie banner / GPC signal. |
Your choices
- Cookie banner — on your first visit we ask for consent for analytics and marketing categories. You can change your choice any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the page footer.
- Browser controls — block or delete cookies in your browser. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will break login and similar core flows.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC) — we honour GPC as an opt-out of analytics/marketing categories for users whose law recognises it.
- Do Not Track — we do not alter behaviour based on DNT because no uniform standard exists.
Third-party cookies
Some pages and features load third-party scripts that may set their own cookies — for example, embedded videos (YouTube, Vimeo), live-chat widgets, or analytics tools. These third parties have their own privacy policies that govern their cookies. Where we can, we load third-party scripts in privacy-enhanced modes (e.g. YouTube no-cookie embed).
Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use. Material changes are communicated through the cookie banner or an in-app notice.
